- Yak Milk Dog Chew
The Great & Small Yak Milk Chews are made from a mix of skimmed Yak and Cow milk.
A very small amount of lime juice and salt is added to coagulate (harden) the milk, which is then compressed into blocks and smoke dried for 28 days. This gives these chews their unique and irresistible flavour.
Made in small batches using traditional methods. Each chew is laid on drying racks and then dried using smoke. The chews will move up the drying rack and further away from the smoke over a 4-week period. These chews get better with age and last longer the older they are. This is why each chew has an incredible five-year shelf life.
Once the dog has enjoyed most of their chew, the remaining piece can be placed in the microwave for 30-60 seconds. The Yak Milk Chew will puff up into a honeycomb textured chew, so your dog gets to finish every tasty morsel.
