How Great & Small Started
Great & Small Founder Dean and his family have been retailing pet products since 1968 and have always tried to stock the very best. Sometimes there was no suitable product on the market, so, if possible, Dean set about creating that product himself. He began with rabbit runs, hutches, and bird feeders. As his business grew, so did our capacity to design and make more of our own brands. This collection of products came together in 2009 under one name, aptly called Great & Small!
Great & Small is now run as a separate business within Dean’s specialist Pet Group. Over 2,500 carefully designed products are found in the Great & Small range, from tough dog toys, and natural tasty treats, to comfy cat beds and durable scratchers. These are sold through specialist pet stores in the UK and in over 25 countries, including Japan and the USA.
