As a guide, measurements for dog coats should be taken from the base of your dog's neck where it joins his body, to the base of your dog's tail. Instructions: The lead should be positioned over the dog's head with the sliding ring closest to the owner/walker's leg at all times. If on correctly, the sliding ring will be able to slide up and down freely, allowing the lead to become slack and rest under the dog's head.
